On Friday, September 24, as part of a global strike, youngsters marched in the national capital demanding action from the government against climate change. They marched to the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change in central Delhi to demand environment planning for damaged regions like the Aravallis, better sewage treatment plants to combat pollution in the Yamuna, and an ecologically sound NCR regional plan. The strike drew a number of young people to the streets.
