Inside Out

Update: 2015-06-14 02:42 GMT

The sun spares nor fish nor fowl,
Nor owner, labourer, tout,
But is its heat greater than
What brain sends from inside out?

What scalding embers now populate
The advanced human brain,
Our temperature far exceeds
What the sun may entertain.

We tolerate no other stars,
Our moon must be our own;
Our ether bear our branded breath,
All virtues ours alone.

And if that be not acceptable,
Our heat is out for the kill;
No argument is a worthy one
That our will does not fulfil.
