NEW DELHI: Thousands of people have come out on the streets in Ferguson, St. Louis in protest of a grand jury’s decision to not indict a white police officer who fatally shot an unarmed African-American teenager in the Missouri suburb. Similar protests are taking place across the United States, with protesters drawing attention to issues of discrimination in the country. This message -- of discrimination and the lack of equality and justice -- has resonated deeply with a group of people in a different part of the world. As the protests have gained momentum, Palestinians have taken to Twitter to pass along messages using the hashtag #Palestine2Ferguson.
