NEW DELHI: Street barbers in India are a common sight across India shared between the big cities and the small towns and villages. A broken mirror, a creaky chair, a couple of dirty combs and some questionable water to wet the hair and hey presto, a barber is born. They usually all do brisk business, at a fraction of what even the small barber shops might charge, and are responsible for keeping the hair of the population at large well oiled and neat.
