The River Gomti is a tributary of the Ganga and flows down from the hills into the plains, nurturing several cities along its banks. Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, is one such city and while environmentalists battle with governments to cleanse the waters of industrial waste, children have no such worries.
