Dr Ravindra K Jain was formerly Professor of Social Anthropology and Dean, School of Social Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He is an expert on Indian Diaspora and author of Nation, Diaspora, Trans-nation: Reflections from India, published by Routledge in 2010.
